The accepted cash currency is EUR, and the device supports both buy and sell transactions.
The purchase of cryptocurrencies takes place on site: you select the cryptocurrency and network (if applicable), scan the QR code of your wallet or enter the address manually, check the exchange rate and details, then insert EUR banknotes and wait for the funds to be sent to your wallet. Cryptocurrencies are sold by placing an order in advance on Bitomat.com using the "Sell cryptocurrencies" option, after which, upon confirmation (usually 1-40 minutes), you scan the barcode/QR code received at a Bitcoin ATM and collect your cash in EUR.
